Len was six when his father Louis encouraged him to take up golf. But it wasn’t until high school that Len began to elevate his game, eventually becoming the #1 ranked player in Junior Golf. His skill and fortitude earned Len a scholarship to Wake Forest where he was a two time All-American and key member of the 1986 NCAA National Championship team.

After turning pro in 1990, Len has enjoyed a successful career highlighted by two PGA Tour wins and a dramatic, runner up finish at the Masters. A violent skiing accident threatened to end his career in 2003. But Len’s drive and love of the game enabled him to fight his way back to form.

"A Genuinely Nice Guy"

Ask around about what kind of person Len is and you’ll hear one response over and over: “Len is genuinely a nice guy.”  Maybe it’s because Len always takes time to sign autographs. Or it could be the way he connects with people when he does meet and greets with sponsors and their guest. Of course he’s also known to send hand written thank you notes to folks he played with at Pro-Am events. All these things may not show up on the stat sheets, but it truly defines the type of player, and person, Len is.

A Husband. A Father. A Philanthropist.

Len feels blessed to have so much in his life. Which is why he gives so much back. His charity Len’s Friends has raised $400,000 for local charities. Ultimately, Len sees himself as a husband and father first. His wife Kristen has been at his side for (15) years. Devoted parents, Len and Kristen cherish their two young daughters, Grace Lauren, and Noelle Anna.
